What it means to be an AdVENTURE Student

Hello, my name is Javier and I am going to tell you about what it means to be an AdVENTURE Student. Well, first off, I am making this E-Portfolio to inform students and adults about AdVENTURE. The best middle school there could possibly be. I want to share this school with other people so that their 2 years in Middle School can be fun and amazing! So Lets start!

AdVENTURE is a school program that was first introduced to students 4 years ago. I came to AdVENTURE the first year it opened, it was a quite a new experience for me. As soon as the first week ended I knew that I made the right choice going there. But after the 1st day, I immediately knew the difference between AdVENTURE and my old school.

Another reason why AdVENTURE is amazing is because the teachers and the staff. They will do anything to enhance your learning abilities. The teachers and staff taught me to be Respectful, Responsible, Safe and Honest. They are amazing and fun and couldn't thank them enough for what they have done these past couple of years to help me become what I am today. Although they are fun and cool, they can be strict about the rules, so make sure you don't mess around too much!

AdVENTURE teaches 5th,6th,7th, and 8th graders. incoming 5th graders are in for a surprise when they arrive at AdVENTURE. Well, I was at least. The reason why is because AdVENTURE is trying to get you ready for high school early, so they added switching periods. We did not do that in my old school, so it caught me off guard. But with the help of my friends and teachers, I got the hang of it. Although it was hard to get used to at first, It sure did benefit me in the long run.

All in all, I personally feel like it would've been a mistake for me not join AdVENTURE. Not only did I meet wonderful and amazing new people, I got to be more academically successful by learning a lot more than I would have in my other school. I even managed to achieve my academic goal by the help of my teachers! I believe that each of the reasons I have listed in each of these paragraphs are key components to a successful future.Being an AdVENTURE student is exactly that, being successful, unique and amazing. AdVENTURE can help you with that, that is why I am here, for a successful, unique and amazing future. That is what it means to be an AdVENTURE student.
